Visit to Skopje and Belgrade, September 2005

visit to Belgrade and SkopjeYouth Incentives has conducted a consultancy for IPPF-EN's project 'Youth, Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS in the Balkans Prevention - Protection - Provision' . Anke van Dam, Head of Youth Incentives, visited Skopje and Belgrade in September 2005 to review the progress in introducing clinic-based youth friendly services. The establishment of youth friendly services is part of the project. Another task of the consultant was to assess the sustainability of the youth friendly services as they are currently provided and make recommendations for ensuring and or improving sustainability.

The 9th International Summer School STOP AIDS, Serbia, 25 July 2005

One of the senior consultants of Youth Incentives participated in the workshop as a lecturer in the 9th International Summer School STOP AIDS, which is an educational project of the Yugoslav Youth Association against AIDS, Youth of JAZAS. The objectives were to promote sexuality and sexual health in a broader perspective. Dealing with issues, as for example STIs and HIV should be a part of the belief that sexuality is a positive drive and that the right for a sexual health is a basic human right. Youth Incentives and Youth of JAZAS will examine the possibilities to work together on the Millennium Development Goals in relation to their mission and goals. During the next Summer School STOP AIDS Youth Incentives contributes once more in the area of sexuality and sexual health.
