Workshops on understanding the RAP-rule, Ethiopia, 19 - 25 March 2006
Youth Incentives, Hiwot Ethiopia, the International Institute of Education Leadership Development Programme (IIE/LDP) and Safe the children Sweden (SCS) organised a variety of activity to get a better understanding of the RAP-rule. First there was a two-day training workshop was conducted for the total staff of Hiwot (which means Live ). Secondly an experience sharing workshop with stakeholders was organised. And lastly there was a one day workshop with representatives of Youth Organisations, schools and clubs. Hiwot together with Voluntary Service Overseas Ethiopia and Youth Incentives facilitated the training and workshops in Ethiopia.
During this week a Dutch radio reporter was present. He recorded parts of the training and interviewed participants and stakeholders to make a programme on young people and sexual and reproductive health in Ethiopia. The Dutch radio station Llink has broadcasted the programme on 28 April 2006.
